Brisbane City Council contacted me to provide some artwork for their marquee at the Green Heart Fair. This fair focuses on sustainability and environmental initiatives which is very exciting being an enthusiast of all things Australian wildlife!
They had two face-cut out boards that required some attention. So the first part of the brief was to create two characters that will go on to the boards.
So along came a Long Necked Turtle and a Sugar Glider!!
It was an exciting challenge and great to see them in place at the fair and many people having their photo taken with them.
In additional to the painted boards, they also required 8 digital cartoons focusing on different areas of sustainability.
And these were featured within their marquee:
Sharyn, local government officer provided this testimonial:
“Edd was engaged to produce some images for use at events to inspire people to be more sustainable. The brief was a fairly loose one, that Edd interpreted wonderfully, providing images that encapsulated the messages that were wanting to be portrayed really well. Edd was passionate about his work, and his values aligned well with the work we wanted done. Our images are used widely within our organisation, and continue to help us engage with the community in a fun and uplifting way.”
